Morning:

Your driver welcomes you at the hotel reception.and you board a comfortable minivan, let yourself be guided through the alleys of the Cathedral. From 1027 to 1825, this masterpiece of Gothic art hosted the coronation ceremonies of the French monarchs. It has been part of Unesco World Heritage since 1991.

Then, you plunge into the heart of one of the greatest Champagne Houses. Enjoy the particular atmosphere of the chalk cellars where millions of Champagne bottles are aging. There, you discover what makes this wine so unique before tasting two cuvées.

Lunch:

Your driver drops you in front of an elegant and welcoming restaurant of Reims city center. You savour a delightful three-course menu especially designed for you in this cozy atmosphere. (One glass of Champagne, one glass of wine, water & coffee are included.)

Afternoon:

It is time for you to board the minivan again and head to the vineyards for a commented tour through the Champagne Scenic Road. Admire the hillsides of the Champagne vineyards - they have just been listed on Unesco World Heritage - and discover the most important treasure of the region : the grapes.

The magnificent village of Hautvillers is your next stop-over. There, you trace the origin of Champagne visiting the church where the famous Dom Perignon is buried. This monk, who gave his name to a famous brand, is also known as the inventor of the Champagne blending process.

At the end of the day, an independent Champagne producer welcomes you on his domain. He shares with you his passion for cultivating the grapes and the secrets of his savoir-faire. Tasting his cuvées is then a chance for you to understand the diversity of Champagnes and to stimulate your senses.
