Your program day by day:

D1 – : Arrival in France (40 km)

Arrival in Paris airport at 09:15 am (flights booked under own arrangement). Meeting with your private driver and your English speaking guide for the entire tour. Transfer to the City of Light and discovery of the famous Avenue des Champs Elysées and the Arc de Triomphe (your driver will leave the luggage at the hotel and end his services, the rest of the day will be a walking tour). This morning you will discover the amazing Louvre Museum and its well-known masterpieces such as Mona Lisa from Leonard de Vinci... You will pass near the Pont des Arts, a true lovers’ spot and admire the Cathedral of Notre Dame. Lunch under own arrangement. In option, you could have a lunch at the Eiffel Tower or near the Champs de Mars. In the afternoon, follow your guide up to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower. You could then appreciate to wander at in the Jardins du Trocadero, opposite of the Eiffel Tower. In option : You could enjoy the visit of Versailles Palace (instead of visiting the Eiffel Tower) At the end of the day, check-in at your 3* hotel in Paris. Welcome dinner to celebrate your arrival. D2 –  : Discover the magic & beautiful Paris (20 km)

Breakfast. In the morning, meeting with your driver and transfer to the area of Montmartre and the numerous steps to reach the Sacré Coeur (your driver will transfer the group from the hotel to the area of Montmartre and end his services, the rest of the day will be a walking tour). Our expert will reveal many secrets spots and stories about this inspiring area… Lunch under own arrangement. Breakfast. Meeting with your private driver and road to the Champagne region, well-known for its sparkling white wine…  Visit of a renowned Maison de Champagne in Epernay, and tasting of a glass of Champagne. D7 –  : In the footsteps of Cézanne (450 km)  

Breakfast. Road towards Aix en Provence. Discovery of the Sainte Victoire Mount, its incredible landscapes, masterpieces of Cezanne. The visit ends in the city-enter of Aix, in front of the Café des Deux Garçons, a famous place frequented by Cezanne and his painters’ friends. Lunch at leisure. On the afternoon, road to Carcassonne, a medieval place, with an enchanting atmosphere ! Visit of the Basilica saint Nazaire in Carcassonne, adorned with magnificent stained glass and intricate carvings (depending on the time and opening hours of the Basilica). This experience ends with a commented tasting of local wines. Lunch under own arrangement. In the afternoon, road to Lyon, symbol of the French gastronomy… Panoramic tour to Fourvière Hill. D5 –  : Flavours of Provence (460 km)

Breakfast. Road to the Avignon. Arrival in the area of Montélimar by the end of the morning and visit of the Nougat Museum, a unique place. You will explore the History of this local confectionary before a commented tasting. Road to Avignon and lunch under own arrangement. On the afternoon, discover the City of Popes. Visit of the impressive Palace of the Popes (entrances included). Then, explore the charming historic center and admire the Place de l’Horloge. D6 –  : The treasures of the French Riviera (60 km)

Breakfast. This morning, road to Grasse for a commented visit of an authentic perfumery. Discover the manufacturing process of perfume and follow your senses… After the visit, leisure time in Grasse’s city-center. Lunch under own arrangement in the town of Antibes. On the afternoon, follow your guide from the historic city to the Billionaire’s quay where you will see the largest               yachts ! The rest of the day will be spend at leisure, for shopping and personal discoveries… Dinner at leisure. Overnight.

 

D7 –  : In the footsteps of Cézanne (450 km)  

Breakfast. Road towards Aix en Provence. Discovery of the Sainte Victoire Mount, its incredible landscapes, masterpieces of Cezanne. The visit ends in the city-enter of Aix, in front of the Café des Deux Garçons, a famous place frequented by Cezanne and his painters’ friends. Lunch at leisure. On the afternoon, road to Carcassonne, a medieval place, with an enchanting atmosphere ! Visit of the Basilica saint Nazaire in Carcassonne, adorned with magnificent stained glass and intricate carvings (depending on the time and opening hours of the Basilica). D8 – : From Albi to Bordeaux (490 km)

Breakfast. Road to Albi, UNESCO classed Episcopal City and visit of Saint Cecilia’s Cathedral, the largest brick built cathedral in the world, with the appearance of a fortified castle. Lunch at leisure and departure to Saint Emilion, a UNESCO World heritage site. D9 –  : Bordeaux, Capital City of prestigious wines (20 km)

Breakfast. Bordeaux has a rich architectural and cultural heritage, highlighted by the Place des Quinconces, the Girondist Column or the historic Old Town and its Grand Theatre built in 1780… Lunch under own arrangement. In the afternoon, leisure time to explore the city. Then, enjoy the road along the Garonne River, before attending a private wine session. Dinner at leisure in Cadillac, lovely town with an impressive castle… Return to your hotel in Bordeaux. Overnight.

 

D10 –  : From Cognac to Chenonceaux (430 km)

Breakfast. Road to Cognac. Visit one of the authentic cellars in this region and explore the history of this well-known spirit… Continuation to the Loire Valley and lunch at leisure along the way. On the afternoon, arrival near the Castle of Chenonceau. Guided visit of this former ladies’s castle in the Loire Valley. Then, road to Amboise and leisure time in this delightful riverside town with an imposing castle. Check-in at your 3* hotel in the area. Dinner. Overnight.

 

D11 – : An impressive monument : the Mont Saint Michel (340 km)

Breakfast. This morning, road to the North. Arrival at the Mont Saint Michel and lunch at leisure on spot. Then, on the frontier between Normandy and Brittany, discover this imposing monument and its wonderful abbey (entrances included). D12 – From Bayeux to Normandy’s beaches (320 km)

Breakfast. Road towards Bayeux. Guided discovery of the well-known Bayeux Tapestry, listed as a ‘Memory of the World’ by UNESCO and celebrating the conquest of England by William, Duke of Normandy. Then, you will enjoy incredible landscapes along the coast, from the Pointe du Hoc to Omaha Beach. The discovery will end in the American Cemetery.  Lunch at leisure in the area before reaching Longues-sur-Mer, renowned for the battery that fired during war. The discovery will end in Arromanches, well-known for its artificial harbour during war to supply the soldiers’ needs.  Road to Rouen. Check-in at your 3* hotel in Rouen.
