Day 1: Welcome in Provence

When you arrive on Sunday morning we will accompany you to Hôtel Crillon le Brave, first stage of the holiday. Your guide will ensure you receive the correct bike and equipment and help with the necessary tasks of setting up the bike for you. During lunch, the Ride & More team will be there to fully explain how the week will function including safety aspects. After then, off to the base of Mont-Ventoux to test the bikes and enjoy the rocky ochres formations and the grapevines. On our way back a local winegrower will be waiting to propose a tasting of local wines.

The second part of the afternoon and evening leaves you free to enjoy the hotel and facilities. The team will be at your disposal for any further information you may need for dinner.

Day 2 : Dentelles-de-Montmirail and the wineyards

In the morning the departure will be directly from the hotel. Pedalling through the olive groves and wineyards direction the wine growing villages. Our guide will share his passion for the region and local knowledge of the excellent wine growing domain. A “bistronomique” lunch will be at the restaurant Oustalet.

On our way back to the hotel, you will discover the “Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise”, a naturally sweet wine, speciality of the village.

The second part of the afternoon and evening leaves you free to enjoy the hotel and facilities. The team will be at your disposal for any further information you may need for dinner.

 Day 3 : Le Pays de Giono and the Lavender fields

A short private transfer will take you to the base of Mont Ventoux, the ride will include the Gorge of the Toulorenc, Aurel, Brantes and Montbrun-les-Bains, so many fabulous little villages to discover, each with their own charm. The impressive north face of Mont-Ventoux will preside over the days visit up until late afternoon when our team will take you back to Coquillade Village.

The second part of the afternoon and evening leaves you free to enjoy the hotel and facilities. The team will be at your disposal for any further information you may need for dinner.

Day 4: Easy ride and relaxing day

Morning ride direction Gordes, listed as one of France’s most beautiful villages, with views that are guaranteed to take your breath away. This stunning dry-stone village perched on the Monts de Vaucluse will captivate you with its cobbled streets and fantastic views of the Luberon valley.

After lunch in the village we continue to Senanque’s Abbey and on to the Col De Murs. The return to Coquillade Village will be by more relaxing trails.

The second part of the afternoon and evening leaves you free to enjoy the hotel and facilities. The team will be at your disposal for any further information you may need for dinner.

Day 5: L’Isle sur la Sorgue “Venice in Provence”

We will be taking the cycle track from Calavon in order to arrive at l’Isle sur la Sorgue and to spend a superb day at the incredibly popular market and the famous antiques shops.

After lunch the ride continues to Fontaine de Vaucluse and the legendary source, steeped in history with its imposing cliffs and castle.

The evening dinner will be inspired by the abundant local produce, chosen by Coquillade Village’s chef and served in the main gastronomic restaurant Le Gourmet.

Day 6: Little Colorado in Provence

For the last day of your stay, we propose to you an exceptional breakfast followed by a moment of relaxation in the spa or maybe a final ride in the village of Roussillon.

After lunch, the Ride & More team will ensure your transfer to the TGV train station in Avignon

  • Group activities: wine tasting, a pétanque tournament and oenological discovery workshops are organized.
  • Entry fees for visits are also included in the package price. However, these visits are subject to modification depending on seasonality as well as the availability of our partners.

What is not included in the package:

  • Transportation (flights or land travel) to and from the meeting point at the beginning and end of stay.
  • Accommodation before or after your stay. However, we are able to suggest other options to best suit your needs.
  • Tips for the guides and our support team. See the section dedicated to this subject.
  • The purchase of personal belongings during your stay.
  • Some meals may not be included (see details of stay) and provide you the opportunity to discover local area restaurants. Our team is at your disposal to provide suggestions and help with your reservations.
  • Additional cost for single occupancy: single travellers not wishing to share a room can, with supplement, take the single occupancy option for comfort and privacy.
  • Bicycle upgrades: For some of our stays, it is possible to request an upper range bicycle. These requests are subject to additional cost according to the required range. We advise you to let us know should you be interested in one of these options as soon as possible in order to ensure availability of desired bikes.
  • Travel insurance: We can offer travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, interruption of your trip and medical emergencies. For more information, please consult the section dedicated to travel insurance.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you wish to cancel your tour, you must submit your request to us in writing by email at: contact@rideandmore.com or postal mail at: Ride & More Travel, 168 Avenue Louis Chabran 84210 Pernes les Fontaines, France. If a cancellation is made after receipt of the deposit but before the 60-day final payment due date, deposits shall be refunded by wire transfer minus a 125 Euros cancellation fee per person. For Cancellation within 60 days, but more than 45 days after reservation confirmation, the entire deposit is non-refundable, and within 45 days additional cancellation penalties may apply, up to 100% of tour costs. No refunds shall be made once the tour starts. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this cancellation policy, including but not limited to reasons related to force majeure (see paragraph below), weather conditions, family or medical emergencies or any circumstances beyond our control.

Pre-Departure Cancellations or Changes by Ride& More Travel: We reserve the right to cancel any tour prior to departure for any reason. In the event of such cancellation, a full refund will be issued to you via check, which shall constitute a full settlement. If the tour is cancelled within 45 days of departure, an additional discount will be made for an alternate trip with Ride & More Travel or one of its affiliates in addition to the full refund. In the event that, prior to departure, we make any significant changes because of a problem with a supplier, for example a hotel bankruptcy, we will, as soon as reasonably possible, notify you of available alternatives. Such changes may generate a supplemental payment from you or possibly a refund. No refunds under this paragraph will be issued due to cancellations or changes due to Force Majeure.

No Reimbursements due to Changes or Cancellations: We will not reimburse Participants for any personal expenses such as airline tickets, other travel or hotel expenses due to changes in itineraries or tour cancellations.

Force Majeure

We will not be liable for any changes, cancellation, effect on your booking, loss or damage suffered by you or for any failure by your accommodation provider and/or us to perform or properly perform any of our respective obligations to you if the failure to perform or the improper performance is due to any event(s) or circumstance(s) caused by force majeure. By way of example force majeure includes, but is not limited to, war, revolution, terrorist act, closure of borders, epidemic, natural catastrophe or other causes that seriously affect both parties and in particular the place where the accommodation provider is located as well as our country of origin and other unforeseeable causes beyond our control.

Insurance:

The price of the tour does not include travel insurance. We strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance that protects you and your investment in the event of a sudden emergency before or during your trip and coverage for trip cancellation or interruption, illness, injury, and damage, loss or theft of baggage, as well as emergency assistance. We assume that you are covered by any insurance company of your choosing.

No Reimbursements due to Changes or Cancellations: We will not reimburse Participants for any personal expenses such as airline tickets, other travel or hotel expenses due to changes in itineraries or tour cancellations.

Force Majeure

We will not be liable for any changes, cancellation, effect on your booking, loss or damage suffered by you or for any failure by your accommodation provider and/or us to perform or properly perform any of our respective obligations to you if the failure to perform or the improper performance is due to any event(s) or circumstance(s) caused by force majeure. By way of example force majeure includes, but is not limited to, war, revolution, terrorist act, closure of borders, epidemic, natural catastrophe or other causes that seriously affect both parties and in particular the place where the accommodation provider is located as well as our country of origin and other unforeseeable causes beyond our control.

Insurance:

The price of the tour does not include travel insurance. We strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance that protects you and your investment in the event of a sudden emergency before or during your trip and coverage for trip cancellation or interruption, illness, injury, and damage, loss or theft of baggage, as well as emergency assistance. We assume that you are covered by any insurance company of your choosing.
