Near the Mediterranean Sea (7.1 km), this city has as neighbors Béziers to 69 km to the southwest and Nîmes to 52 km to the northeast. You will appreciate its history, its streets and alleys in old stone and its festive and young atmosphere. Montpellier is at the edge of the Mediterranean, close to the vineyards of Languedoc and Cathar castles. An ideal situation between culture and relaxation.

DAY 1: Montpellier

Pick-up by your driver at Montpellier station or airport and transfer to the DE VERCHANT ESTATE by Relais et Châteaux.

Welcome by your guide who will give you the detailed program and will explain your stay and then guided tour of the historical center of Montpellier, with its faculty of medicine, squares and alleys or mansions. This day trip is dedicated to Roman time.

Dinner and overnight in Verchant based on a deluxe room with terrace

DAY 2: Carcassonne

Departure with your driver guide to the medieval city of Carcassonne. Visit the castle and the fortifications.

On the way back to Montpellier, discover the Canal du Midi and in particular the site of the 9 locks of Fonseranes.

DAY 3: Nîmes and le Pont du Gard

Your first stop will be the Pont du Gard, a magnificent Roman aqueduct nestled in the middle of the garrigue and on the banks of the river. Then drive towards Nîmes where we advise the visit of the halls in order to discover the local specialties.

In the afternoon, visit the famous Roman arenas, the square house (ancient Roman temple), the Magne tower overlooking the city and its medieval streets.

You can have dinner in one of the restaurant in le Domaine de Verchant, and have a wonderful cocktail at sunset in the bar overlooking the Vineyards.

DAY 4: Departure

Cancellation Policy:

If you or someone else decides to cancel reservations, the name on the travel registration must inform us of the decision as soon as possible. Any notification by telephone must also be confirmed in writing or by e-mail within 24 hours by the applicant for cancellation. The cancellation will take effect from the day we are informed, provided that we receive written confirmation within 24 hours of the initial notification.

Cancellation fees:

• Up to 31 days: 30% of the total amount
• 30 to 21 days: 50% of the total amount
• 20 to 11 days: 75% of the total amount
• 10 days or less: 100% of the total amount
