After being taken care of at your hotel, discover Paris with your local guide. The origin of Paris goes back to the island of the City, about 2000 years ago. Here is a suggestion on how to pass the time; Discover the Marais district and the Latin Quarter before going to Notre-Dame Cathedral with your guide. Then explore the Place de la Concorde, the Avenue des Champs-Elysées and the Arc de Triomphe among the main sites of the city. At the end of your visit, you will either be dropped wherever you want!

 DAY 2: Paris its delicacies and its craftsmen

Pastry and bakery of PARIS (3h)

Discover French pastry, world famous and recognized symbols of French gastronomy. From bakery to pastry, your guide will tell you not only the history of cakes, chocolate and other sweet dishes that make the reputation of French pastry, but it will also show you how this history of gastronomy intertwines with delight to the History of France: his Kings, Emperors, rulers, his Revolution, his people. Who would have believed it ? Croissants and macaroons will allow you to meet Marie Antoinette, Napoleon but also France today!

AFTERNOON – Artisans du Marais (3h)

In the middle of the Marais, between small streets, passages and small courtyards, discover the crafts that still make the heart of this lively district of Paris beat. Far from the hustle and bustle of big retailers and big arteries, go meet four craftsmen. Passion, original creations, know-how, discover and learn more about their sometimes surprising professions.

DAY 3: An exclusive day in Champagne departing from PARIS

 Accompanied by your private chauffeur and a Guide-Speaker, first of all discover Reims, capital of Champagne. After a guided tour of the city and a gourmet meal, you will have the opportunity to visit two Champagne cellars, both of which will end with a tasting. Visits, tastings, the ingredients of a day rich in emotion are gathered.

From your Parisian hotel, take a seat in your comfortable chauffeur-driven sedan and set off for a day full of discoveries in the heart of Champagne. A Guide-Lecturer will accompany you throughout this day to help you discover this beautiful region. First step of your journey: Reims. Let yourself be impressed by the city and its Cathedral, one of the major medieval achievements in Europe, its exceptional unity of style, its luminosity and the wealth of its statutory.

After a gourmet lunch, in an authentic restaurant selected by us, go to the chalk cellars of the Gallo-Roman era, the prestigious Domaine Pommery. The visit of the cellars will allow you to get acquainted with the methods of elaboration of the wine, the history of the brand, and you will have the chance to taste two Champagnes.

To end this day, you will make an unusual stop in the vineyards in the heart of the champagne countryside for another tasting, and the discovery of a small estate working wine and vine. The Champenois of the Domaine will introduce you to the development of their wine, after having made you visit their cellars.

DAY  4: French cooking class ( 6H) and flea market visit (2H)

A French cooking class in Paris where the food market defines the menu! Our concept for our French market class in Paris has always been simple: we leave you, as well as your classmates, the taste of fresh produce and in season, the menu determines what we are going to cook that day. The menu is not decided in advance. We will let the seasons and fresh produce available in our local market shape our meal. You and the other participants will interact with each other, the vendors and your chef to choose the best products and turn them into a delicious meal. At the end of the cooking class, we sit down and savor a 4-course meal, including a fine selection of cheeses accompanied by excellent French wines.

Afternoon: 2h flea market visit

Inveterate children, lovers of beautiful objects, crazy photography, curious or passionate about beautiful encounters, this dive in the heart of the largest and oldest permanent flea market in the world is for you. A visit to a bustling and unique world that will surprise you on every street corner.

From market to market, from stall to stall, your guide will tell you the story of this market specialized in the resale of second-hand objects, unique in its kind. It has no equal in the world: composed of 17 independent markets, it houses 2,000 merchants, including 1300 antique dealers and junk shops come every weekend to feed this market, rightly nicknamed “the breadbasket of the world”, in goods recovered or mined in the four corners of France. Here it is a magical place where everything is found: from the object of current use to the high-end antique without forgetting the objects of decoration and other more unusual.

Your visit will begin with an introduction to a drink at the Recyclerie, a former railway station converted into a café and trendy place of exchange that we will take you behind the scenes. This atypical place will allow you to go back in time and dive into the heart of the nineteenth century, during the birth of the Flea Market.

DAY 5:  CHANTILLY Escape

After breakfast departure for a day in CHANTILLY.

Located 25 miles from Paris, the Domain of Chantilly abounds in wealth. We offer you a dive into the history of France and the French savoir-vivre par excellence.  The program is dense and varied: the private collections, the horse museum, the Brotherhood of the Knights whipping cream Chantilly and also unusual and mysterious places.

“Chantilly, the name that makes us dream” is a promise and a commitment: to share with you an ode to life. Let yourself be carried away by this magic atmosphere.

After dropping your luggage at the hotel, we will accompany you to the restaurant. It is not just any restaurant! The door opens on a character who is part of the club of bon vivants. He is above all a most emblematic member of the Brotherhood of Chantilly cream.

After your bistronomic lunch, it is time to put on an apron, you will be invited to listen to the master and to whip your own cream in the most traditional way!

In partnership with the Confrérie des Chevaliers fouetteurs de crème Chantilly, we will tell you about the legend and the creation of the famous Chantilly cream. There is still a great deal of mystery between the “shaped creams” of the 17th century and the Chantilly cream of 1784. Which cook had the idea to sweeten the cream? Which guest of the Prince de Condé named it Chantilly?

A certainty! Princes and princesses, distinguished guests received at Chantilly all testify to a famous cream served at the snacks in the large thatched cottage of the hamlet of Chantilly. Thus the Baroness of Oberkirch wrote in praise of Chantilly cream: “I have never eaten such good cream, so appetizing and so well prepared”.

In the afternoon, we take you to the horse museum.

Unique in Europe, the Horse Museum presents the relationship between man and horse since the beginning of civilization.

Intended for all audiences, connoisseurs and neophytes alike, its museography is resolutely contemporary. With a large number of interactive tools, it is both a pedagogical and playful tour of the horse and its history. You will be able to admire precious and unpublished collections.
