REOPENING BEGINING OF APRIL 2018

 

In collaboration with Domaine de La Verrière home to Chêne Bleu wine, Ride & More Travel our expert on Provence destination,has created an exceptional holiday experience, combining the discovery of Provence by electric assisted bike and the exclusive oenological activities of its internationally renowned private wine estate, Chêne Bleu. Each morning, supervised by our local guides, you will explore the most beautiful Provencal vineyards equipped with electric mountain bikes, cross the Massif des Dentelles de Montmirail to reach the quaint dry stone walled villages or discover the secrets of olive oil production. For lunch, we will take you to the best gastronomic restaurants the region has to off­er. In the afternoon, the Chêne Bleu team will introduce you to the magic of wine and vineyards by introducing you to the art of tasting and the art of blending various grape varieties. Then you will discover the philosophy of those winemakers who have taken the decision to produce organic and natural wines by adhering to biodynamic principles.

In the company of the Chêne Bleu Private Chef, you will also participate in a cooking class. In the morning, the chef will accompany you to the historical market town of nearby Vaison-la-Romaine to select and buy local produce which you will cook with. In the afternoon he will instruct you in the art of Provencal cooking combining locally sourced seasonal produce. e stay will conclude with a Guided visit of Avignon followed by lunch in a Michelin starred restaurant.

After pick up at Avignon TGV station, it is a 45min transfer to La Verrière. During the welcome lunch, our team will present details of the week’s programme and introduce you to the team who will make

your stay unforgettable. In the afternoon, your guide will accompany you for the first bike trip through the vineyards and the Massif des Dentelles in the surrounding area of La Verrière. In the evening,

you will enjoy an aperitif and a convivial dinner at the estate.

  • Monday / Les villages vignerons

After breakfast, you will head owith the guide for a half day of biking through the Massif des Dentelles to include Séguret, Sablet, then Gigondas. Bistronomic lunch at L’Oustalet restaurant. Return to La Verrière by bike or by vehicle. In the afternoon, oenological activities: An introduction to wine tasting and the Art of Blending. In the evening, you will enjoy an aperitif and a convivial dinner at the estate.

  • Tuesday / Visit local Provencal market, bike ride and cooking class with the Chene Bleu Chef

After breakfast, departure by bike with the guide and the Chef for the Vaison la Romaine market to  buy local produce needed for the cooking class. Lunch at the Bastide du Pont de l'Orme. On the return to La Verrière, visit an olive grove and experience an olive oil themed presentation and tasting.

In the afternoon, oenological activity: Discovery of selected wines of the Rhone Valley. ­The day will conclude with a cooking class, the fruits of which will be enjoyed for dinner in the company of the chef.

  • Wednesday/ Discovery of the Dentelles and Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise

After breakfast, you will head owith the guide for a half day of biking through the Massif des Dentelles and discover the Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise. Presentation and tasting in a renowned estate.

Lunch at the Dolium restaurant in Beaumes-de- Venise. Back to the Domaine de la Verrière by bike or by vehicle.

Afternoon: Discover organic, natural and biodynamic wines. In the evening, gastronomic dinner at La Verrière.

 

  • Thursday/ Art and Culture in Avignon

After breakfast, depart for a morning visit to the historical town of Avignon with a private guide. Farewell lunch with the Ride & More team at the restaurant Le Prieuré - 1 * Michelin. Transfer to Avignon train station.

GENERAL INFORMATION

TIME AND PLACE OF ARRIVAL

Avignon TGV train Station ou Avignon Central Station / Avignon – France

­ Ride & More Travel team will meet you at the Avignon TGV station at 11:45 am on the first day of your stay. After about 45 minutes of a private minibus transfer, vacation in Provence can begin! In the event of delay or if you are unable to make it to the meeting point, please be sure to inform Ride & More Travel team on the emergency number that will be provided in your travel documents. Approximately one week before your departure, you will receive an email with the names and contacts of people to contact in case of emergency or problem during your stay. You will then take a taxi which costs about 100 Euros to the Domaine de la Verrière.

TIME AND PLACE OF DEPARTURE:

Avignon TGV train Station ou Avignon Central Station / Avignon – France

Goodbye! ­ Ride & More Travel Team will take you via private minibus to the Avignon TGV train station or the Avignon City Center train station (the transfer takes about 1h00). From here you can take a train to Paris or any other destination of your choice. Do not book train for departures before 3:30 p.m.

 

HOW TO GET TO THE MEETING POINT:

We recommend that you arrive in France at least 1 day before the start date. ­is will allow you be adjusted to any time differences and minimize delays. If you are traveling from Paris, the best way to reach Avignon is to take a TGV train from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport or from the center of Paris at the Gare de Lyon (tickets available on www.voyages-SNCF.com).

You can also fly from Paris to Marseille (MRS) or Nice (NCE) and then take a train to Avignon. Please note that there are two train stations in Avignon: ­ Central Station and the TGV station, which is 10 minutes by taxi from downtown. There are also frequent shuttles between the two stations. ­

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE :

  • Transportation (flights or land travel) to and from the meeting point at the beginning and end of stay.
  • Accommodation before or after your stay. However, we are able to suggest other options to best suit your needs.
  • Tips for the guides and our support team. See the section dedicated to this subject.
  • The purchase of personal belongings during your stay.
  • Some meals may not be included (see details of stay) and provide you the opportunity to discover  local area restaurants.

Our team is at your disposal to provide suggestions and help with your reservations. Lunch and dinner Wines are not included.

  • Additional cost for single occupancy : single travellers not wishing to share a room can, with supplement, take the single occupancy option for comfort and privacy.
  • Bicycle upgrades : For some of our stays, it is possible to request an upper range bicycle or electric Bike. These requests are subject to additional cost according to the required range.

We advise you to let us know Should you be interested in one of these options as soon as possible in order to ensure availability of desired bikes.

  • Travel insurance : We can offer travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, interruption of your trip and medical emergencies. For more information, please consult the section dedicated to travel insurance.

RESERVATIONS, DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS:

Reservations: Reservations may be made online or by telephone via credit card. Nevertheless, a reservation may not be considered “Finalized” until a written confirmation has been sent by Ride & More.

Deposits and Payments: A 30% deposit per person of the total amount is due at the moment of the reservation via credit card or wire transfer.

Full payment is due 60 days before the first day of the arrival date. Payments must be made in Euro.

Prices for the trip are shown per person in a double room and include the elements mentioned in the itinerary in addition to any additional elements that may have selected by the user. Any requests for single rooms are subject to additional cost and must be requested at the time of the reservation.

If you would like to pay the deposit by wire transfer, your booking will only be confirmed once payment has been received by our bank.

If the requested package cannot be reserved, Ride & More will suggest a different package or alternative dates before reimbursing the deposit.

Clients are free to accept or refuse these suggestions. In the event that the client refuses Ride & More’s suggestions, the deposit will be entirely refunded.

Th­e 30% deposit will be deducted from the total amount due when calculating the balance to be paid.

Final payment: ­ the balance is due no later than 60 days before the scheduled arrival date. Th­e final payment just be made in Euros and the terms of payment will be reminded to all customers before payment is due.

If on the 60th day preceding the scheduled arrival date, Ride & More has yet to receive the balance, the reservation will be automatically canceled based on on the terms of payment outlined below. In the event that the canceled reservation results in Ride & More no longer meeting the minimum number of participants, the 30% deposit will not be reimbursed.

Last minute reservations : If you would like to reserve a stay less than 14 days before the scheduled depart date, you must submit a Reservation Request via email. The entire payment is due in full via credit card or wire transfer pending confirmation. If payment is not received within 24 hours, the credit card submitted will be billed for the full amount without possibility for reimbursement. For further information, please see the Terms and conditions.

 

INSURANCE :

Ride & More Travel orders varied insurance policies to provide coverage during your stay.

Although you may already have travel insurance, be sure to check the details of coverage it provides. It would be unfortunate to occur any financial losses before a long-awaited vacation. Additional insurance is not mandatory but recommended for a worry free stay.

 

EUROPEAN UNION CUSTOMERS:

– Trip cancellation insurance – (4% of the total price):

Cancellation as a result of illness, accident, death from all justified causes, attacks, natural disaster, missed flights…

– Multirisk insurance contract – (5% of the total price) Including Cancellation Insurance +  luggage + Stay interruption + repatriation, early return, travel assistance and inability to return.

 

NON EUROPEAN UNION CUSTOMERS:

REOPENING BEGINING OF APRIL 2018

 

In collaboration with Domaine de La Verrière home to Chêne Bleu wine, Ride & More Travel our expert on Provence destination,has created an exceptional holiday experience, combining the discovery of Provence by electric assisted bike and the exclusive oenological activities of its internationally renowned private wine estate, Chêne Bleu. Each morning, supervised by our local guides, you will explore the most beautiful Provencal vineyards equipped with electric mountain bikes, cross the Massif des Dentelles de Montmirail to reach the quaint dry stone walled villages or discover the secrets of olive oil production. For lunch, we will take you to the best gastronomic restaurants the region has to off­er. In the afternoon, the Chêne Bleu team will introduce you to the magic of wine and vineyards by introducing you to the art of tasting and the art of blending various grape varieties. Then you will discover the philosophy of those winemakers who have taken the decision to produce organic and natural wines by adhering to biodynamic principles.

In the company of the Chêne Bleu Private Chef, you will also participate in a cooking class. In the morning, the chef will accompany you to the historical market town of nearby Vaison-la-Romaine to select and buy local produce which you will cook with. In the afternoon he will instruct you in the art of Provencal cooking combining locally sourced seasonal produce. e stay will conclude with a Guided visit of Avignon followed by lunch in a Michelin starred restaurant.

After pick up at Avignon TGV station, it is a 45min transfer to La Verrière. During the welcome lunch, our team will present details of the week’s programme and introduce you to the team who will make

your stay unforgettable. In the afternoon, your guide will accompany you for the first bike trip through the vineyards and the Massif des Dentelles in the surrounding area of La Verrière. In the evening,

you will enjoy an aperitif and a convivial dinner at the estate.

  • Monday / Les villages vignerons

After breakfast, you will head owith the guide for a half day of biking through the Massif des Dentelles to include Séguret, Sablet, then Gigondas. Bistronomic lunch at L’Oustalet restaurant. Return to La Verrière by bike or by vehicle. In the afternoon, oenological activities: An introduction to wine tasting and the Art of Blending. In the evening, you will enjoy an aperitif and a convivial dinner at the estate.

  • Tuesday / Visit local Provencal market, bike ride and cooking class with the Chene Bleu Chef

After breakfast, departure by bike with the guide and the Chef for the Vaison la Romaine market to  buy local produce needed for the cooking class. Lunch at the Bastide du Pont de l’Orme. On the return to La Verrière, visit an olive grove and experience an olive oil themed presentation and tasting.

In the afternoon, oenological activity: Discovery of selected wines of the Rhone Valley. ­The day will conclude with a cooking class, the fruits of which will be enjoyed for dinner in the company of the chef.

  • Wednesday/ Discovery of the Dentelles and Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise

After breakfast, you will head owith the guide for a half day of biking through the Massif des Dentelles and discover the Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise. Presentation and tasting in a renowned estate.

Lunch at the Dolium restaurant in Beaumes-de- Venise. Back to the Domaine de la Verrière by bike or by vehicle.

Afternoon: Discover organic, natural and biodynamic wines. In the evening, gastronomic dinner at La Verrière.

 

  • Thursday/ Art and Culture in Avignon

After breakfast, depart for a morning visit to the historical town of Avignon with a private guide. Farewell lunch with the Ride & More team at the restaurant Le Prieuré – 1 * Michelin. Transfer to Avignon train station.

GENERAL INFORMATION

TIME AND PLACE OF ARRIVAL

Avignon TGV train Station ou Avignon Central Station / Avignon – France

­ Ride & More Travel team will meet you at the Avignon TGV station at 11:45 am on the first day of your stay. After about 45 minutes of a private minibus transfer, vacation in Provence can begin! In the event of delay or if you are unable to make it to the meeting point, please be sure to inform Ride & More Travel team on the emergency number that will be provided in your travel documents. Approximately one week before your departure, you will receive an email with the names and contacts of people to contact in case of emergency or problem during your stay. You will then take a taxi which costs about 100 Euros to the Domaine de la Verrière.

TIME AND PLACE OF DEPARTURE:

Avignon TGV train Station ou Avignon Central Station / Avignon – France

Goodbye! ­ Ride & More Travel Team will take you via private minibus to the Avignon TGV train station or the Avignon City Center train station (the transfer takes about 1h00). From here you can take a train to Paris or any other destination of your choice. Do not book train for departures before 3:30 p.m.

 

HOW TO GET TO THE MEETING POINT:

We recommend that you arrive in France at least 1 day before the start date. ­is will allow you be adjusted to any time differences and minimize delays. If you are traveling from Paris, the best way to reach Avignon is to take a TGV train from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport or from the center of Paris at the Gare de Lyon (tickets available on www.voyages-SNCF.com).

You can also fly from Paris to Marseille (MRS) or Nice (NCE) and then take a train to Avignon. Please note that there are two train stations in Avignon: ­ Central Station and the TGV station, which is 10 minutes by taxi from downtown. There are also frequent shuttles between the two stations. ­

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE :

  • Transportation (flights or land travel) to and from the meeting point at the beginning and end of stay.
  • Accommodation before or after your stay. However, we are able to suggest other options to best suit your needs.
  • Tips for the guides and our support team. See the section dedicated to this subject.
  • The purchase of personal belongings during your stay.
  • Some meals may not be included (see details of stay) and provide you the opportunity to discover  local area restaurants.

Our team is at your disposal to provide suggestions and help with your reservations. Lunch and dinner Wines are not included.

  • Additional cost for single occupancy : single travellers not wishing to share a room can, with supplement, take the single occupancy option for comfort and privacy.
  • Bicycle upgrades : For some of our stays, it is possible to request an upper range bicycle or electric Bike. These requests are subject to additional cost according to the required range.

We advise you to let us know Should you be interested in one of these options as soon as possible in order to ensure availability of desired bikes.

  • Travel insurance : We can offer travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, interruption of your trip and medical emergencies. For more information, please consult the section dedicated to travel insurance.

RESERVATIONS, DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS:

Reservations: Reservations may be made online or by telephone via credit card. Nevertheless, a reservation may not be considered “Finalized” until a written confirmation has been sent by Ride & More.

Deposits and Payments: A 30% deposit per person of the total amount is due at the moment of the reservation via credit card or wire transfer.

Full payment is due 60 days before the first day of the arrival date. Payments must be made in Euro.

Prices for the trip are shown per person in a double room and include the elements mentioned in the itinerary in addition to any additional elements that may have selected by the user. Any requests for single rooms are subject to additional cost and must be requested at the time of the reservation.

If you would like to pay the deposit by wire transfer, your booking will only be confirmed once payment has been received by our bank.

If the requested package cannot be reserved, Ride & More will suggest a different package or alternative dates before reimbursing the deposit.

Clients are free to accept or refuse these suggestions. In the event that the client refuses Ride & More’s suggestions, the deposit will be entirely refunded.

Th­e 30% deposit will be deducted from the total amount due when calculating the balance to be paid.

Final payment: ­ the balance is due no later than 60 days before the scheduled arrival date. Th­e final payment just be made in Euros and the terms of payment will be reminded to all customers before payment is due.

If on the 60th day preceding the scheduled arrival date, Ride & More has yet to receive the balance, the reservation will be automatically canceled based on on the terms of payment outlined below. In the event that the canceled reservation results in Ride & More no longer meeting the minimum number of participants, the 30% deposit will not be reimbursed.

Last minute reservations : If you would like to reserve a stay less than 14 days before the scheduled depart date, you must submit a Reservation Request via email. The entire payment is due in full via credit card or wire transfer pending confirmation. If payment is not received within 24 hours, the credit card submitted will be billed for the full amount without possibility for reimbursement. For further information, please see the Terms and conditions.

 

INSURANCE :

Ride & More Travel orders varied insurance policies to provide coverage during your stay.

Although you may already have travel insurance, be sure to check the details of coverage it provides. It would be unfortunate to occur any financial losses before a long-awaited vacation. Additional insurance is not mandatory but recommended for a worry free stay.

 

EUROPEAN UNION CUSTOMERS:

– Trip cancellation insurance – (4% of the total price):

Cancellation as a result of illness, accident, death from all justified causes, attacks, natural disaster, missed flights…

– Multirisk insurance contract – (5% of the total price) Including Cancellation Insurance +  luggage + Stay interruption + repatriation, early return, travel assistance and inability to return.

 

NON EUROPEAN UNION CUSTOMERS:

– Trip cancellation insurance – (4% of the total price):

Cancellation as a result of illness, accident, death from all justified causes, attacks, natural disaster,

missed flights…

– Medical emergency assistance contract costs – (starting at 1.5% of the total price in addition to insurance): Includes unlimited coverage of medical care and repatriation.
