A Magical Christmas in Provence

Provence, a land of traditions that welcomes you during this festive period… From the Blue Coast to the Camargue region, you will be seduced by the festive atmosphere of a Provençal Christmas !

Only in December 

• Day 1 – A Magical Christmas in Aix en Provence

Arrival in the afternoon. Meeting with your private driver and road to Aix en Provence. Discovery at leisure of the Christmas market and its numerous wooden chalets… Private visit of a chocolate workshop, the visit ends with a tasting of some festive creations. Check-in  at your 5* hotel and discovery of some welcome gifts that were set in your room. Dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, illuminated by hundreds of candles… Overnight.

• Day 2 – Private Discovery of the Blue Coast

Breakfast. Meeting with your private driver and road along the coast. This morning you will attend an exclusive masterclass about the ‘calissons’, little pastry from Provence, created with almonds. Following our Chef’s advice, you will prepare this famous sweet, part of the thirteen Christmas desserts. Lunch with fish. After your meal, discovery of Martigues, a small fishermen village with its tiny harbor.  During the end of the year, the city is fully illuminated and welcomes a local Christmas Market. Your day will ends at the spa, taking some time to rest and enjoy your stay. Some of the stones used for this building were provided by the famous Pont du Gard. Festive dinner and discovery of the well-known Thirteen Christmas Desserts, composed of calissons, mendiants, filled dates, fresh fruits… Overnight.

• Day 3 – Marseilles, a city combining tradition and modernity

Breakfast. Meeting with your private driver and transfer towards Marseilles. Follow your English speaking guide in the old city-center and discover the Harbor, the typical quarter of the ‘Panier’ and taste the real ‘navettes’ (local biscuits). Lunch with a panoramic view on the Old Harbour. The afternoon will be spend in the hinterland, visiting a ‘crèche’ from Provence (nativity scene). You will admire more than 400 ‘santons’ (handmade Christmas Crib Figures), recounting the life of an authentic village. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight.

• Day 4 – The Camargue and its traditions

Breakfast. Meeting with your private driver and road to discover a real ‘manade’ (property with herd of bulls). Some traditional herdsmen will welcome you and introduce the domain. The visit will end with a private presentation of their work with the herd. Lunch at the property. Seize the opportunity to taste the famous Bull Stew (Gardiane de Taureau). Then, road to Arles, a Roman city with an impressive Christmas market, festive parades and street performances… (depending on the dates). A the end of the day, experience a private and authentic moment in a traditional house of Camargue, producing wine for three generations. The owner will be delighted to share his skills and presents his wines during a tasting session. Farewell dinner. Overnight.

• Day 5 – Last stroll in Aix en Provence

Breakfast. Your driver will remain at your disposal for the morning. Enjoy your last day to do some shopping and create last incredible memories… Transfer towards the airport. End of our services.

  During two hours, let’s appreciate the art of horse riding, at the heart of a typical property with herd of bulls… It would be the opportunity to discover the local gastronomy as well… Available for lunch as well

Our sales and cancellation conditions (on indicative basis – to be confirmed in the contract – flight excluded)

• Deposit (30%) to be paid at the contract’s signature
• Rooming list to be sent at least 45 days prior to the departure
• Balance to be paid 30 days prior to the departure

             Payments in Euros – Net of bank charges

• Total cancellation fees : 100% at D-60
• Partial cancellation (up to 20% of the group) :
• Between 21 and 14 days : 50 % of the package rate
• Between 14 and 07 days : 75 % of the package rate
• Less than 07 days : 100% of the package rate
