D1 : Arrival in Bordeaux

Arrival at Bordeaux airport or train station and private transfer to Hotel Burdigala 5* Bordeaux.

3pm: Private guided tour of Bordeaux city center (2h).

Dinner at your hotel at Restaurant Madame B (3-course menu without drinks)

Enter Madame B’s and let a gentle wave of nostalgia wash over you. From the restaurant to the bar, within the walls of the Hotel Burdigala, you’ll discover a warm atmosphere conducive to conviviality and sharing. In the kitchen, you’ll rekindle some of Proust’s finest Madeleines with the flavors of yesteryear and local produce. Revisited and sublimated by Chef Grégory Vingadassalon’s creativity, gourmet dishes can be adapted to suit your mood and appetite.

Day 2: Guided tour of Bordeaux and the Cité du Vin

Morning: Meet your private guide and enjoy a gastronomic tour of Bordeaux’s old town.
We’ll start our culinary stroll in one of Bordeaux’s famous little squares, Place Saint-Pierre. To kick off this morning stroll, we’ll settle into a café. We’ll tell you all about the history of this port and its merchandise, and start with a tasting of the city’s finest coffee and chocolate. Our tour of the old quarter will continue, and you’ll be surprised by the beauty of the place.
Our tour of this district will be punctuated by three gourmet stops, where an innovative grocery store will be presented to you, followed by an emblematic specialty of the city, to finish with an exciting subject, a bread and chocolate croissant. A promise of timeless tastings!

After a short stroll through the streets of the old town, we’ll arrive at the covered market. What a life! You’ll be delighted by the wine cheeses and charcuterie: we’ll talk about quality and production methods.
We’ll round off our guided tour with a meal at a local bistronomic restaurant. It will be accompanied by a wine and followed by a small dessert.
Private transfer to the Cité du Vin.

Afternoon: WORKSHOP on Bordeaux wines – This workshop will enable you to discover all the particularities of Bordeaux wines! Behind the fame of this world-famous vineyard lies a diversity of styles and terroirs, a wide range of grape varieties and wine-making expertise handed down from generation to generation.
In partnership with the Bordeaux Wine School, this workshop will be led by a wine professional who will explain the main characteristics of this emblematic vineyard through a tasting of three wines representative of the Bordeaux terroir.

Return to Bordeaux.

D 3: St Emilion wine region

Morning: Meet your driver guide at your hotel for a full-day visit to St Emilion.
En route to Château Gruaud Larose in the Médoc.
On the way, your guide will explain the characteristics of the wines, the terroir and the history of the region. This excursion will immerse you in the history of this UNESCO World Heritage city and its historic monuments. You’ll discover the secrets of this medieval city, the cradle of Bordeaux viticulture.
Our team will ensure that you receive the full attention of your private guide, who will take care of the itinerary, reservations and activities to enable you to make the most of your day. For lunch, we suggest a gourmet restaurant in a castle or a local restaurant by reservation.

In the afternoon, you’ll visit and taste the region’s finest wines in three cellars specially selected according to your level of knowledge and expectations. From the oldest, family-run châteaux to the most modern and luxurious, you can choose to personalize your itinerary – we’ll take care of the organization.
