Day 1 : Cabardès

Arrival in the morning at Carcassonne. Airport or train station

The first day, visit of the Cabardès and the Dark Mountain.

Aragon is a charming hill-topped village. Visit its priory, today main place of the “Cabardès wines”. Also discover the area Pierre Sèche in the Dark Mountain located near the priory

Lunch in the village at the restaurant “La Bergerie” or similar

Visit of Saissac, castle and medieval village and as well Montolieu, place dedicated to old books. The tour ends with the visit of the abbey of Villelongue, a true heaven of peace.

Accommodation in a double room at your 4* hotel in Carcassonne : Hotel Le Donjon ou Hôtel du Château (subject to availability).

Dinner.

Day 2: Malepère et Limoux

Departure from your hotel to Limoux vineyards. To join the place, pass by Ventenac- Cabardès, Pézens, Villesèquelande, Arzens… and cross the vineyard of Malepère.

Discover and taste the sparkling wines of Limoux

When you come back, visit Carcassonne medieval city and the count castle.

Dinner and night at your hotel in Carcassonne: Hotel Le Donjon ou Hôtel du Château (subject to availability).

Day 3 : Minervois – La Livinière

Departure from your hotel to drive through the villages and sites of the Minervois region, mostly the prestigious vineyard of La Livinière.

You may see:

The chapels of the Centenilles and Saint Germain,

The medieval village of Caunes Minervois, its Gothic and Renaissance private mansions, the Benedictine abbey and the red crimson marble quarry.

The particular heptagonal Romanesque church of Rieux Minervois

The Canal du Midi

The church of Pouzols-Minervois, a jewel of the Romanesque Lombard style art and architecture

Overnight in your 4* castle hotel and dinner in Carcassonne: Hotel Le Donjon ou Hôtel du Château (subject to availability).

Day 4 : Corbières – La Clape

For the last day, driving through the Corbières, you will see charming villages such as Lagrasse and visit the Fontfroide abbey as well. Lunch in a Michelin awarded restaurant.

Then drive along the Mediterranean coast to discover the stony massif of La Clape and the beautiful village of Gruissan.

Departure from Carcassonne – End of services

Cancellation policy :

If you or anyone on your holiday booking decides to cancel the holiday, the lead name must notify us of the decision as soon as possible. Any notification by telephone must also be confirmed in writing or by e-mail within 24-hours by the lead name. Cancellation will take effect from the day we are notified provided that written confirmation is received by us within 24-hours of the original notification.

Cancellation fees:

• up to 31 days: 30% of the total amount
• 30 to 21 days: 50% of the total amount
• 20 to 11 days: 75% of the total amount
• 10 days or less: 100% of the total amount
